Mk3 leccy window reg's...are they different between 3 and 5dr?

Well....as the subject line may explain, are the leccy window reg's the same between 3 and 5 door mk3 golfs or do they differ as I'm currently after a N/S/F!!

Any wise words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

Im pretty sure there different in size.

motors are pretty much the same it's the mechanism that is different  lengths from 3 door to 5 door .   
also have a few lying around motors are fine mechanism's are knackered the cables have snap or chewed on the roller runners.

Well thats the thing...with mine the motor is fine, the bloody yellow clip holding the cable at the top of the runner by the roller has snapped in half so the cables just chewing into the green wheel. half way up theres too much tension and it runs back down again!

Well if you have a 5 door you wont struggle to get one but if its a 3 door they seem harder to find well they do round here anyway

Tell me about it...got a 3dr 16v...at the minute getting a cheap reg is like looking for hens teeth!
