Air bag light
« on: 12 April 2005, 11:52 »
Hello people,

Need some help...

had my 99 1.8T parked up for a weeks, since m.o.t ran out, just got in it this morning to take it to m.o.t center and I noticed that my air bag light wouldn't go off, so i got my mechanic to have a look at it.

so he plugged a machine into the socket's under the climate controls an above the ash tray, and tried reseting some thing, but didn't have any luck what so ever.

my mechanic told me i will have to go t the steelers, but am pretty low on cash, so i don't really wanna go to the steelers at the moment.  Anybody had any problems similar?

if so Any feedback would be much appreciated.

cheers boys an girls....

Most dealers won't charge you to put out a fault code, as long as the fault don't reoccur.
tell em u had a flat battery and when you got it started the light was on
