well been a few days, got a new ignition module. still no change. i have decided to trace all the engine loom wiring. its a long and slow process but am getting there. might be swapping engines out soon anyway, not decided which lump to drop in yet. will decide at a later date.

so on the weekend i did how ever get the golf in the back of the workshop. strted off with taking the windows out, door handles off, bumpers off etc. i tried taking more pictures for everyone.

i also decided to finish (or make more presentable the warped metal from wich the repair panel was welded in. sort the front arches a little more and also sort  a few other little bits off that were annoying me a little bit

and that person you can see is the mate that helped me sand and such. (coup)

we keyed the previouys paint up and used that as the base as i couldnt find the 5litres of primer we have sat about some where in the garage.
so on to the masking.
what a job it was to mask the back window up. we got it all sorted in the end though. took a stroke of genious though.

now the part i enjoyed was the painting, first car i have painted on my own entirely. the test section on the rear valance turned out perfect 1st time. got some runs in the paint on the boot and some other areas though which annoyed me. but we got the sanders back out and re sprayed them sections again.

I'm sorry shaun :( its this phone that I had when I 1st joined. And yeh started it at about 12 finished at 7.
The workspace is much bigger than that, that's the tyre bay. Got a whole workshop around the corner.

Its suppose to be mat but the tin says pearl black. And then mat written in pen. So am not sure

well i usually have a new motorolla which had a very good camera but i broke it at work.
well im sure when we order some more black (satin for instance), we will know if its mat of satin. they could have just stuck the wrong sticker on. i'll try get a few better pictures today using a differant camera.
