Is there an idiots guide in paper form to painting that explains everything from treating rust spots, explaining the different types of primer to the actual painting etc....

i think my brother has a book from many moons ago when he was at college that covers all that, including welding.. but its about 2 inches thick. i'll see if i can get the name/author for you, might find a copy on ebeg !

I'm pretty sure that Haynes did a bodywork manual.
Covered small rust spots, through dents rightup to cutting out and wlding in panels etc.
Was pretty useful IIRC. The same one Toefur?
