Fjord blue door???

Ok heres one for you, i have a LR5V 1997 Gti 3 door, i needed a new door which i managed to track down on ebay, got it yesterday and it doesnt seem the right colour, its pretty close but the door seems to be more metallic whereas mine is a pretty flat colour. Any ideas?? Is pacific blue and fjord blue the same?
Admittedly the door is from an earlier car, not sure on model.

i once had a valver in what i thought was Fjord blue, it turned out it was some other colour, cant remember but looked almost the same. it was however a pearl colour - really cant remember what the colour was called tho, sorry

Yeah pacific blue is the same as fjord blue and the paint code is LR5V :wink:

Yeah minesw fjord blue it looks alittle darker in the images than it actually is. One of my doors is actually a slightly different colour to the car, looks like it could have been replaced at some stage but its alright you can't really notice it.

How bad is the colour match? photos?

Oh yeah now you've made more than 10 posts you might get a pm or 2 off me - just ignore it unless you ever want to go ahead, haha :wink:

Theres a guy i bought a wing off on ebay breaking a late fjord blue gti, i will email him to see if he has the bumpers if you want?
