IMO I would fix the cars issues and sell it private through an add on the pistonheads classified website.

Well I've got an invite to the launch of the new BMW 4 series, in September.

I like the press release shots and if the xdrive lives up to expectations I'm very interested.

I called in at the local stealer yesterday to have a look at the Mk7 GTi in the flesh, the first time I've seen it. Their's was a white 5 door standard version and I have to say I liked it. But then I would say that since it's very very similar to the Mk6. I reckon if I bought a carbon grey one most people wouldn't know I'd got a new car!
Would I buy one? Definitely, if I can afford one come change time in 3 years. If I've only got £20k to play with though I have to say I might be tempted by a VXR (cue shouts and guffaws) at that price. I still think it's a stunning looking thing and over 8 years I'll be keeping it the resale value becomes less relevant.
A long time to change my mind though so I won't be worrying too much about it for the time being.

A Toyota Yaris.

Not for me, but I've just done a deal for my Dad to get him out of his truly awful year old Kia Venga without having to suffer monumental depreciation.

For how you have described it I would be surprised if a dealer offers you any more than £12k trade in.

got my golf valued yesterday at £12,200 which is brilliant- AND with the faulty door plus the two thread bare tyres.
still searching for that low mileage, white a7 which doesn't seem to exist atm.
BTW if anyones interested, Audi offers 10 grand discount on some new audi's.
