The Leon is being changed in March and I got sent by my Director to BMW to sort my new car out. In keeping with the common theme here it was obviously a trip to BMW

I have managed to spec the following car for my budget;

320d M Sport
Metallic Paint - deciding between Glacier Silver and Mineral Grey
Heated Seats (leather as standard)
Nav & Bluetooth business pack
Sun Protection Glass (window tints)
Xenons

Now I have come away I am wondering whether to drop the Xenons for the Harmon Karden upgrade, anyone any experience/ advice as I am torn between the two and not enough monthly budget for both

Plus I am wondering if he heated seats should be swapped out for lumbar support, albeit the car in the showroom felt very supportive in the lower back?

Too many decisions

Get the buisness hifi and keep the xenons - lumber not required as the seats are exellent, heating is required.

IMHO

Saw my first 135i on the road this morning.

Was it going sideways into every parked car that it drove past?

LMAO!

I'd have xenons over upgraded hi-fi any day.

Standard radios are a lot less sh1t these days, plus, other drivers can't hear your stereo, but they can see your xenons.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

So true.........I love my xenons, and if I had to choose between upgraded stereo or xenons, I'd go for xenons every time.

Thanks for replies chaps, bit of a mixed response

Gut feeling still suggests the Xenons are a good choice :undecided:

r
When the MD points you in a direction for car choice it becomes a far bigger choice than it being just about the car.....

Are you going to be his b!tch?!?
Are you going to follow orders?
Are you going to keep your own mind about your own decisions?
Are you able to say no to him?
Does he think you need a car that represents the image of the plans he has for you?

Just a thought.....

No I'm certainly not selling my soul to he devil to have the car,  the whole sales team has 3 series BMW's.

I am just the last to play catch up as my Leon was delivered a few months before the change over to the new car policy and everyone having BMW's

+1

Just retro fitted xenons to my Audi and the difference is literally night and day. They should be standard fitment

theyre doing free upgrade to business spec speakers usually about £280 so why not just get the free upgrade and buy the xenons instead.

Buisness speakers used to be called BMW HiFi and it sound great - I'd say around 99.99% better than the standard Mk6 speakers.

I know a little about car HiFi and home HiFi btw
