Mechanically it's been fine but the interior trim is a bloody disgrace and has totally ruined any enjoyment i get from drivin it. I literally take it out of the garage to wash it and then it goes away again so not getting used.

One things for sure I won't be falling for the VW build quality BS ever again.

I'm going to get an idea of part ex prices next week I think but not expecting much. Problem is the cars I fancy are cheaper than mine so to part ex down is always hard.

It's a shame cos it's a great looking car and is at OCD levels of cleaness/maintained but if I can't stand driving it what's the point in it.

I'm feeling this way about my GTI at the moment. If I had a spare £30k it would be going on an M135i for sure.  As I'm buying a bigger house next year I need all my borrowing power....

M135i next year I think.

Something to wet your appetite then Jim

My new car is now in the UK. Popping into the dealers to sign the final paper work.

I should imagine handover will be next week sometime. I'm both nervous and excited seeing as I haven't driven one yet.

Great news, looking forward to pics and a review.

Surely what you really, really want is a 125i with loads of extras though !

What a machine the m135i is, I think if you had one of those you would keep it forever as nothing out there comes close.

Its still not a looker though and that would bug me every day.

The RS3 comes out badly though, looks very dated now. A mate has jsut bough an S3 so will send this video to him.
Mk6 GTi - returned to leasing company after 3 great years and replaced with :

Mk5 GTi - Edition 30 - Revo 1 and some tweaks - 310 bhp. Its a better car than the Mk6  - Now sold and replaced with :

Mk6 R - Rising Blue 5 Door. Won't be standard 270bhp for long

Family Car : Mercedes ML420 with 360 bhp
Looking at Porsche Macan as replacement

went to look at a megane RS265 trophy yesterday - one of just 50 in the the uk. 1 year old, decent mileage and a very good price (the dealer had a full fat 'normal' 265 in for more money!?!)

was prepared to put my car in for it had it been in decent condition but it had sold... 2 weeks ago! why the frig dont garages update their websites and autotrader adverts?!!

Just watched that video of the M135i v the RS3 and what a car the M135i looks.  For the price the, the better comparison is the M135i v the Rocco R.....It would get creamed.

dont like the leather in them photos. i prefer the alcantera honeycomb pattern seats i saw in the dealership to them. they look like something out of a toyota avensis taxi.
