He dosn't see the quantity of Mk2's as he did when I bought mine 3 years ago as there are a lot less good ones for sale, but he does still seem to have a knack of hunting down proper, honest cars.

I guess I paid over the odds for mine compared to private sale prices at the time, but when I factored in the cost and time of travelling the country looking at sh1tters, I thought it was worth it.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

These are very good looking cars in estate format,  nearly every one of them I see is in Blue.
A good choice.

I still struggle slightly with badge snobbery despite how ridiculous this is so I applud you for having both taste and common sense :wink:
