Checking the DV
« on: 12 July 2011, 22:29 »
I've heard the DV can be weak and the diaphragm can break - are there any instructions on how to remove it and check it on a standard GTI please?

Cheers but does anyone have a picture showing its location more clearly - that one's so zoomed in it's impossible to see whereabouts it is!

It's bolted to the cold side of the turbo housing, you need to work from under the car, on the drivers side directly above the  off side drive shaft.
