i have a 30edition gti .... what wood be the best intake for a price range of up to £200 ??

One that wasn't designed to fit a mk6 GTI.  :wink:

Best induction kit in terms of performance would be something like this - http://bit.ly/nWBLed



Note that on a MK5 the engine cover needs to come off, be hacked or have a modified cover to install this kit. This kit is more expensive than your £200 budget and will set you back about £330.

There are other induction kits (such as carbon speed one that I have) which do a job (sort of lol) but are not as good as the Forge - http://bit.ly/qrcb6k



This is more affordable but as said, not as good and will set you back about £210.

+1 for the Carbon Speed. Got it on my mine.
Mrk V, GTI, 3dr, DSG, heated seats, winter pack, cruise control, rear parking sensors and now thanks to GizzyWizzy and SteveP in the MK6 section a RCD 510. Awesome!

Same as that,since installing mine i have noticed a more raspy sounding engine....
Mk7 GTI in black,DSG,fully loaded.
