yeah think i might ask him some info about them.
I just went out in the car came back, gave it a few revs on the spot (up to 4k on the rev counter)
got out and on the ground from my exhaust was lots of black stuff, the only way to discribe it is like soot but slightly damp, it doesnt feel oily and there isnt much of a smell to it, its just my cat that smells, do you think this could be from over filling the oil (although i havent topped up the oil in a while) or do i have another problem?? the car does "wobble" on idle and drinking lots of fuel but there is no power loss.
There is not much point buying a new cat if there is another problem as the new cat will die a quick death also.
Any ideas???
