mk2 golf 9a 2.0 16v.
I dont know if im getting worried for nothing but i might have a problem. My car had a slight water leak, nothing major, would have to top up water every week, a litre or so. The problem was the water flange on the side of the head. I got this fixed but now the temperature is different to how it was.
The oil temp would always be about 90 on normal driving and rise to about 106 max when proper caining it, i mean a good workout. The problem i have across is after replacing the flange, the oil temperature is about 104-110 on normal driving. The power and everything else seems fine, just that the oil temperature gets very high very quickly, and it warms up quicker aswell. The water temp also seems to going near the middle mark whereas before it would stay on the quarter mark.
Aside from the oil temp rising and the water temp, the only other problem i have now is that with the oil temp at 104-106 the car doesnt want to turn over. It turns over very very weak. When its cold it starts first time everytime.
What could be the problem?
