I started Elsecar prep today, so cracked out the machine polisher!

The tailgate has been getting progressively more dull since it was painted, so I spent a long time working on it. I'm really chuffed with the result though!

I used the most abrasive Menzerna polish I could find on a white Menzerna pad, did 3-4 passes of every panel on the car, took a few reflection pics as I went and then a few final pics.

Tomorrow I need to apply glaze and wax, clean all the door shuts, plastics and rubbers, wheel arches and interior. I've also got a delock kit for the drivers door to fit.

P.s. no pipework pics today...sorry

Shame you have to run a front number plate.

Cheers Wayne :afro:

The plate is just off for cleaning at the moment, getting a smooth one made at the moment. Need to figure out what to do with the plate once that's on. I'll probably use magnets to fix it in place underneath the rub strip.

You are so lucky you took a "Reflection selfie" given the lack of pictures of the wheels!

That is looking smart!!
