Lucky git not causing much damage. I take it there was no damage to the other party?
Looking nice though. Any more plans for the future?

It was a Berlingo van and there wasn't a mark on it, I only hit the bottom of his bumper which was pretty solid!

Just finished sanding down the rub strip:

 Picked up a rear rubstrip yesterday to use as a filler for the recess.

Spent today attempting to joey mod my standard headlights. I did a few sets when I had my MK3 and it was so much easier than on the Mk4. I tried separating the glass but that wasn't going to work so I picked up a second set.

Smashed the glass off one set (very satisfying!):

I then spent the next 2 hours picking out glass and sealant from the backing

Half way through:

I decided to ditch the front fogs in favour of a second indicator which I will wire up as a running light. Started by splitting both fog and indicator:

After a bit of trimming I was left with this:

Back in the lamp:

Sprayed chrome surround:

Back in place:

Just the wiring left to do. Annoyingly I managed to do this to the glass that I was going to use:

So I need to source another headlight

Dom, your car looks epic!

On the headlight front I don't know of this seller is any use to you:
http://bit.ly/141m542 but they sell just the replacement glass rather than you buying a whole new lamp. I like the running lamp idea, I've seen twindicators a lot but never that.

How come you've got rid of the Depo's?
