Also rolled the inner arches back yesterday and removed the front spacers to see what it would sit like

A bit too much tuck!

Today I started getting it ready for ED38. I stuck some 10mm spacers on instead of the 15mm ones that were on:

I fixed a broken key:

Resprayed the front badge matte black as it was looking a bit tired:

Then made it nice and shiny!

don't worry mate, that roughly translates to "I would love air but can't afford it"

It really is great, can run it really low without the harsh bouncy ride, I'm actually enjoying driving the car now that I can thrash it along back roads again

Just got back from a great weekend at Edition 38, was on the OCD trade stand which had some very nice cars on it:

I felt a bit inadequate waxing the car this morning though bearing in mind what I was parked next to

Also check out the shine from my new Kleen Freaks wax

That looks so much better with the narrower spacers on the front

15mm spacers went back on, the 10mm ones weren't hubcentric and the steering wheel wobble was horrendous!

Been messing around sorting little niggly things the last day or so including fixing a non-working boot light (faulty boot latch) and removing the rear number plate holder:

Also got a snap of it aired out 'laying frame':

Sooo, was on a roundabout earlier behind a van that stamped on his brakes

Couldn't stop in time and gave him a friendly nudge

Damage was surprisingly minor, broken plate holder, plate itself a bit bent, some paint missing along the top of the rub strip (the rubstrip itself is cracked in the middle) and some cracks in the paint on the bumper. Could have been a lot worse!

The bumper was covered in stone chips anyway so I'm not too bothered and it's given me motivation to smooth a spare rub strip that I have in the shed.

For now I'm running like this...wonder how long before I'm pulled
