Looking ace.....

Not so sure about the car you parked next to though.......  :undecided:

It was bought as a £500 sh!tter with really bad paint/bodywork, it's been done like that to get attention and split opinions....which it certainly does

Cars like this always do, makes sense to some if it looked fecked to start with.. Unlike some crazy people like LL when he matte blacked his car not long after having that metallic blue respray!

Not got much to update with really, I ended up losing a large portion of my under tray to a road near Bakewell:

I've also constructed a list of things that need sorting:

- Sort headlight alignment
- Sort cold start problem - n249 valve fault code thrown up but n249 is bypassed
- Investigate horrible grinding noise every time I turn
- Replace coilovers
- Replace ARB Bushes
- Replace outer CV boot
- Replace window reg & repair door module
- Replace rear discs/pads

I have no motivation to sort any of it, but I'm going to do headlights and window reg today!

Right then, window regulator clips are replaced!

One of them was broken so it was a good job that I changed them now:

I took the lock module apart to see if it was suffering from the common problem of poor soldering on one of the micro switches. Unfortunately the solder was all ok, so it looks like a micro switch is to blame, that means a new lock module

I also picked up some rear discs from a mate so need to get pads sorted.

Update time!

Picked up a boot with a Votex spoiler attached earlier, stuck it on the car & it looks good. Pictures will follow tomorrow when it is light, the boot itself could do with a little tlc though. It'll get painted sometime after xmas.

Incase you don't know what a Votex spoiler looks like it's similar to an Anniversary one but slightly deeper and as rare as hens teeth:

Looking good, that's the original Votex too as the later one like mine wasn't so deep and had the aerial cut out

Never seen one of those

Does it touch the aerial when you open the boot?
