I did decat it, I know a few of the guys who work at my local VW garage so I booked it in with them and they made sure it passed the emissions

If your thinking about decatting yours then do it! It sounds amazing and spits flames from time to time

As far as decatting goes, someone needs to design a quick release system for swapping the relevant section.... 

 Saying that though, how long would it take though really to swap out once a year?

It was bought as a £500 sh!tter with really bad paint/bodywork, it's been done like that to get attention and split opinions....which it certainly does
