After deciding that lowering springs and standard shocks is a recipe for disaster I decided that it was time to invest in coilovers instead.

However before I committed I decided to check the bumper clearance when reversing off my drive, due to a drainage gulley which the rear wheels drop into it can be a little tight:





A good couple of inches to spare so I popped over to Manchester to collect these:



They'll be fitted in a couple of weeks, unless there is anyone local willing to lend a hand this week for beer tokens?

They're JOMs, I was kidding myself that I would save up for decent coilies but really I'd rather spend less on suspension and more on wheels :cool:

leave the rear adjusters out  :wink: mine are  :smiley:

Yeah might well do, they're quite big & don't actually provide a lot of adjustment :undecided:

That's embarassing seeing how I've only just fitted joms lol. Shows how much notice I was taking :). So glad I chose coilies instead of springs. U won't regret ;)

mine are only cheap jamex coilies but never been a problem in the 10 0r so months they,ve been on and am happy with the ride  :smiley:
