Dom's Mk4 Story So Far - it's all over!

Good man,i even gave them a little polish for you .My missus bollocked me for using her shopping bag for wrapping them up.I picked them up after she had wrapped them and ripped them to bits so what does she expect

  My mate said they were in a bag for life!

Recently I've been getting a lot of knocking coming from the front o/s which I narrowed down to the top mount. I thought it would be rude to not lower the car a little seeing as the mounts were being replaced anyway

I bought a set of 35mm Jamex(?) lowering springs from Gary to fit at the same time as replacing the mounts, the Gti sits 20mm lower than standard anyway so the car was only ever going to be 15mm lower than it already was. After running cheap coilies on the MK3 I want to save up & get a decent setup for the MK4 so the lowering springs are only temporary

Anyway, some pics:

I've got some 10mm spacers lying around which I might stick on the rear.

The next big purchase will be wheels, then some nice coilies

Yup, only made a subtle difference but it's firmed the ride up a little and I have no more knocking from the front so I'm happy
