All sorted and gear changes are better than before now it's properly aligned :cool:

So need to do mine again. Sure they must be slipping, think I defo need new ones. And for £10 can't hurt to try lol.

Yup, it's 1J0 711 761 B it's listed as 'Catch' and is £8.24inc vat :smiley:

Yeah, took 2mins to fit & another 2 to realign the linkage....absolute doddle :wink:

To fit:

1. To remove the old one you need to loosen the clip by compressing the spring and twisting clockwise - it will lock into place and the 3 arms will release from the rod.

2. There is a little round silver clip that goes over the top of the bush, this slides off and the whole item just lifts out.

3. Compress the spring on the new one, place into position & put the silver clip back on.

Before you go buying anything try realigning yours first, that might be all that it needs :wink:

Ye I've done that, worked fine for a few days then skipped out again. So can be stiff to get into gears. So that's y I think it might be them clips, not gripping properly.

Good man,i even gave them a little polish for you :evil:.My missus bollocked me for using her shopping bag for wrapping them up.I picked them up after she had wrapped them and ripped them to bits so what does she expect :grin:
