Hate the arm rest with a passion! In the way of putting the Handbrake down and bump my elbow when changing gear. It stays firmly up.
Project longterm Airbanger.

You can adjust the height of it on the mk4 I find it comfy changing gear.

The theme for the engine bay will be black/red, I just need to get hold of a new rocker cover to experiment with!

I'm loving the seats, so so supportive! I'll fit an arm rest eventually, but at the moment cannot justify the expense of one :undecided:

I swapped out the old blue piping going from fpr - inlet and d/v - inlet, replaced with red to match the other hoses

Slowly but surely! I got a great deal on the hoses through Topher, condition was that they were red though

Thinking about spraying the rocker cover tomorrow....I'm assuming I'll be able to reuse the gasket?

I would not, you may get lucky but re using gaskets is not a good idea.

Ahh i see haha Red it is then

Mate DONT reuse the gasket, i changed mine, it was 30 quid ish from Audi. but while your at it do the Half moon seal too under the tensioner on the right hand side, its about a Fiver from the dealer and one of the weak points for oil leaks on 1.8T engines

did all these on mine when i do my cam cover

I also used some of the silicone VAG sealant as per service Dept guidelines at Audi

Are you going RED with the cover then ?
