Well, not had much to update with recently other than a mysterious leak in the boot nothing has changed on the car....until today

I made the trip down to see Craig & Nick at Carbon Chiptuning today! After a coffee and a chat we put the car on the ramps and Nick began his pre map checks on the car. After 30 seconds under the car Nick announced that the diff output shaft seal was leaking moderately, but all the boost hoses were good

Next up was a leaking hose towards the top of the engine (i'm sure Nick will inform me which one), which Nick took off cleaned & inspected. The hose itself looked fine and was only leaking at the joins, this was resolved and the car was scanned for faults.
This was ok, and Nick proceeded to fit a Forge 007p, everything was pieced back together and the car was good for a baseline power run:

It produced a very respectable 156bhp and around 170lb/ft torque.
Following this the new map was loaded onto the car and the results were very pleasing:

205bhp and 245lb/ft torque

It has completely transformed the car, it's an absolute animal!! I had a great day with Nick & Craig and cannot recommend Carbon Chiptuning highly enough to anyone considering a remap

The final addition was a Carbon sticker in the rear window & Craig kindly reattached my front number plate holder which was dangerously close to falling off
