You make it sound like you didn't do the mk3 properly!   I know what you mean though.

With a new toy there's always lots of little things to be getting on with which you seem to be doing. Especially while you save for your airide.

 I stuck cheap suspension on the Mk3 and refurbed the wheels myself which is what I meant by that. The Mk4 will get better suspension (not air), arb's etc which won't be cheap.

All the little bits add up pretty quickly though, £20 here, £30 there and suddenly your talking a few hundred

edited my poor english.

Nah i'm kidding... I'm pretty happy with what i've done, in many respects proud comes to mind. I hope to get the body in a better looking state by VW action.

Will your mk3 funds when they come be free to spend on the mk4 or are they tied up?

They're supposed to be tied up in kitting out my new flat but i'm sure most of it will probably end up being spent on the mk4

Need to find myself an Anni front valance/side skirts & R32 boot spoiler, i'll probably use money from the mk3 for those.

Once they're done I'll look at suspension/wheels, but as already said it will take a while
