Very nice mate, it's going to look very similar parked up next to mine at the RR in October.  You shoulda bought mine off me

It is indeed, I'm gonna PM you with a question later so keep an eye out

I did consider yours when it was up for sale but I wasn't in a position to buy a newer car back then

Lol, it's still up for sale.  Might have some parts you could have in the future if you're looking to upgrade as well mate.  Very nice car though :afro:

Looks like a really really clean example, can't believe how low the mileage is too!

Looks like you've got yourself a keeper! :afro:

I think it's probably pretty similar tbh, I took it down to Donny & back the other day (250miles round trip) and it averaged 36mpg. I did the same trip in the mk3 last week and it averaged 37mpg.

It was however a hell of a lot more comfortable, quieter & generally a nicer drive

I swapped my number plate surrounds from the mk3 earlier, i'm going to order some dubmeister plates when I get the logbook back.

I have spent more time than I would care to think today sorting out a few imperfections with the bodywork & giving it a general clean. I got no before pics or any of the process but here is what I did:

- Snowfoamed with Magifoam
- Washed with 2 bucket method & chemical guys citrus gloss shampoo
- Clayed with Megs clay
- Machine polished with a variety of Mezerna polishes depending on the panel & imperfections on it.
- Followed by Poorboys blackhole glaze
- Finished with Collinite 476s wax

The bodywork is now absolutely gleaming and most of the marks/swirl marks have been removed:
