My only recall of a standard one is a very linear power delivery. Too linear and dull for me, but my biggest gripe was the fact the throttle pedal had to be moved half an inch before the car did anything which it a bit sh!te when you're used to normally aspirated old cars.
But I didn't realise mk6s suffer from fuel pump failure

I thought that was just mk5s and that mk6s had uprated pumps (hence one of the reasons they re-map better).
Bloody hell.
