Here is how it stands at the end of today.

Managed to get some black Sikaflex from work and set about attaching it. With a few other household items I think I've managed to get good contact between the back part and the mesh. It is currently sat in the house as it was taking forever to harden out in the cold. It has 2 large hammers pushing the mesh down now

I live in parkstone and work down at Poole Docks mate.

Anyway,

Here is the finished product. The center part has had a few fresh coats of satin black and lacquer.

I'm just waiting for the sikaflex to harden on the centre part as the modifications made to it stopped it from clipping in correctly then I will be fitting it on the car later

In a few places the sikaflex looks a bit crap but overall I'm happy with it. Hopefully I'll get in on the car before it gets dark. If not then it will be 2moro.

It's only going to look even better once fitted

I have kept a close eye on this thread, because it is certainly something I'd consider doing in the future. As I am not going R32 front (going fully smoothed Anni front), I am going to look into 'honeycombing' the lower bumper grills, as it would look odd having one and not the other.

Also, top marks for taking pics along the way (so much more helpful for anyone considering this)! :afro:
