Looking good buddy,hows the ABS situation going?

cheers mate not so good i have my uncle looking at it next week hes a mechanic and will charge me sod all i'm getting him to fit the abs pump i have and renew my back brake lines and bleed it all properly with new brake fluid as hes got vag com  :smiley: if that dosn't work then i will get one of the ecu's sent off to be looked at  :sad: nothing else i can really do atm. good thing is we went on holiday this weekend down south without missing a beat  :smiley:

Yeah man the abf sure loves a long jorney,i sent mine off to Tshirt,he reckons he found probs with it and has sorted it so fingers crossed :smiley:

they sure do i'd drive mine to scotland tomo no probs i'd even do a euro trip  :smiley: ah cool hope its sorted then let me know how it is and i may do the same  :smiley:

indeed mate i would have had them maybe although would certainly have been painted  :smiley: not sure what i'm going for yet but should hopefully improve the look somewhat  :smiley:

I thort your car looked nice with your white wheels. But everyone needs a change. What wheels you got planned?

couple of options i'm looking at cheapest being only because i'm soon purchasing a new car and this will only be my going to work car and vw show car lol some audi tt comps sprayed white  :smiley: or

smidt th lines 9" wide
3sdm 0.5 16" (when they have been made)
image f40 reps
borbet A 9" wide centres white lip black
or possibly pro race 3's balck or white  :smiley:

Yeah if they hurry up and make the 16" then defo first on my list the good thing is there priced right aswell and look the tits  :smiley: and i can get them for trade price also which is a bonus  :smug:

Indeed you did cheers  :smiley: the black ones were a phase as they came like it standard which i still have but ones broken so got these off a forum member and sprayed them myself and came out pretty good  :smiley:

well i have been away for a while and not spending much time on here  :sad: so not much updates since last however i have been doing some minor tweaks to the golf  :smiley:

First off it passed its MOT with one advisory to the rear brake pipes which is soon to be done before winter kicks in  :smiley: i didn't manage to get the engine bay anywhere near where i wanted but i have started to polish a spare inlet manifold i have for it. Only real update is new wheels which i have had on since last thursday  :smiley:

These are as you can see audi TT competition wheels fully refurbed in gloss black running 205/40/17 front and currently 205/45 rear (soon to be matched with front) these are 8j rather than my old 7.5's so i have a tiny bit of stretch  :smiley: pics now.





I will update again at weekend with more photo's with the car nice and shiny plus hopefully a new starter motor installed  :smiley:
