Cheers mate  as far as the seats go all you need to do is cut the original frames off and weld the mk3 frames on in there place the rears same again really although the rears dont fit snug but its not really a big issue as i hardly ever have people in the back

No problem mate it was this stuff http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SAVAGE-BLACK-TAIL-LIGHT-TINTING-SPRAY-BRAKE-LIGHT-TINT-/220803533721?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item3368ea8b99 you have to clean the lenses very well and do light sprays about 8 in total otherwise it may crack and look rubbish  they sell this spray in motor world and probably halfords aswell for same price so your not saving anything on ebay unfortunately

Right well i might have just wiggled my way into a 1.8t out of a ibiza cupra but im still to hear back from the bloke about condition etc  I wasn't planning on it this year certainly but if its at the right price then i may just build it up over winter what would this be like for fitting into the mk3 from an ibiza more probs than out of a mk4? what power would be expected with 1k spent on the engine? cheers

Bit of an update

No longer going for the 1.8t conversion instead she will be getting supercharged in march just needs some time spent doing a few things first

currently in the process of refurbing two front hubs removed from one of the cars im breaking. I'm doing this as my 16v wheel bearings have gone on the front so i thought i would just buy new parts and keep it all fresh for MOT in october. I have currently stripped the front hubs down to the casting which i will then rub down and spray using hammerite dark green spray

I have bought new 2x wheels bearings 2x ball joints 2x drop links and 2x hubs the actual part the wheel bolts to with the abs disk behind also 2x front abs sensors. Im hoping to have this fitted by next weekend and wil update with pictures as i do it.

All in its cost me near to £180 money well spent i'd say thats using forum discount from ecp and tierod on ebay so im hoping its all good parts, which so far they are spot on

:undecided: to do a proper conversion could well end up costing the same as fitting a 1.8t, maybe even more.
