Bosch Digifant ECU pinout diagram required (PLEASE!)

Golf GTi MK3 2.0l 8V 1994

An ECU guy told me that the ECU must always have power even with the engine off. Is this BS or not?
Has any one got a PIN layout for this ECU (48pin)?

yeah I think they have a "standby" power - i.e. to retain settings but not run the car.

You only ever need two tools in life. If it moves and it shouldn't use Duct Tape. If it does not move and it should, use WD40.
