my engine is being rebuilt and everything's been put on hold atm cause the engine builders can't source a crankshaft!

it's a pb engine code and if anyone knows where i can get one please let me know

Just go buy a complete engine out of a 2.0 motor and stick the bottom end from that in the car, with the PB head on it.

Or are you some sort of OEM goon?
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

my engine has been stripped and is ready to be rebuilt except the engine builders are having trouble sourcing a crank shaft for my current engine...

don't wanna start putting a 2.0L bottom end on it, the whole idea of the rebuild is so the engine is mint, why bother putting a second hand bottom end on it?

well one of the crankshaft bearings came loose and seized the engine, so the crankshaft isn't in a salvageable condition :(

Just get one from a donor and have it re-machined/polished etc???

Get a 2.0 bottom end for 50quid and get that rebuilt!! Or find a sub 100k 2.0 lump and chuck that in-it'll be fine...

Ebay.

Or buy a complete engine and pull the crank out of that. I do know a friend who has a spare KR lump laying around that should be ok for the job too but I dont know the condition of the crank nor how much he would want for it or for postage.

If you go for a balanced crank make sure it gets balanced with the flywheel and pulley attached on either end before install.
