to keep your original rolling radius you need 205/45/16.

there is a tyre size calculator at tyresave.co.uk if you want to see what other sizes are reasonably possible.

i originally had 205/60/16's on my car and strangely enough only one wheel rubbed, changed them for 205/45/16's and with a heavy load no rubbing, but i do still have standard suspension tho

OK thanks guys, I will be going for 205/45/16. Khumo do a decent mid range tyre at a cracking price so think I will give them a try. Afterall Bmw are now fitting Khumo's.

I've got 215/40/16s on mk3 anniversary bbs RX2s.  Same rolling radius as 205/50/15, no rubbing problems or anything but my car isn't lowered at all.  Yet.........

A VR6 isn't a way of life, it's just a car.

Oakleydoakley, I pick up my new alloys today, hopefully a rubbing free fit. Took them in yesterday but the garage had to order my tyres as they had none in stock.

205/45/16 as advised and the Khumo tyres are only £48 each, balanced and fitted which I thought was a decent deal.
