as some of you guys might be aware that i bought some fk lights from germany for my Mk3
these were four X angel eye with projector xenon look headlights.
all was well until it became apparent that there was a manufacturing fault with the passenger side headlight
the chrome base of the light had started to separate from the sub structure of the light body.
my original wish when contacting GOINGFAST.DE was that i would like to buy the non-chrome ones (black) but these were not available until June.
so i ordered the chrome ones, just happy to have new eyes for my golf on the way.
because of the fault i contacted the "leader of the pack" at GOINGFAST.DE (Alexander Schmidt) who was very helpful, i supplied him with images of the fault and the next day he returned my e-mail with the happy news that he would be very happy to replace the complete light set with a new set.
the next part of his e-mail was even more supprising, he also said that he remembered that i was originally interested in the black version of the headlights (two months prior) and that he had received several sets early and would i like those instead at no extra cost
very happy, i of course replied yes
now i ask you, if i had been dealing with a UK company do you think i would still have received that level of service
i would like to thank Alexander Schmidt at -goingfast.de- for a very non British service and i would recommend goingfast to anyone on this forum. you can't fault the germans for customer relations and quality
