My window is posessed
« on: 03 July 2011, 22:00 »
Tried a search but found no answers.  When I press my driver window up it goes up half way, stops then goes down a little bit.  Then when pressed again it goes up. Sometimes it goes all the way to top.  Is something broke or is it some programmed crazyness?

Sounds like its either not seated properly or your window clips are about to give up the will to hold the glass in place

Door modules can cause windows to play up too.

Dont you have to make them 'learn' the up/down positions again?

Yep you do, poor fixing or regulator will cause it to mis-learn as it will find the load to high an assume that is the highest point. So you have some fun shutting them from time to time.

I found my re-learn even just by pressing all the way up even when window was mid way and it memorized it from there.

Mine goes all the way down fine however, it goes two thirds up the back down a third and has become a b!tch to ensure I can get it to close
