VDL 35S in dark blue, owned from new by my parents.  3500S model and very fine, too.

I remember listening to Blondie Parallel Lines on the cassette player (I can tell you're impressed), sitting outside what's now SCATS in Blackwater on the IOW.

My Grandma had a Mini 850, slightly older, in the same blue and with beige leg-burning vinyl seats.  :grin:
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Holiday cottages on the Isle of Wight for 2-10 people? PM me.

my dad had one of these (did they do a V8 version as I seem to remember a V8 badge on the back).. unfortunately the colour was a putrid puke green the same as this emoticon  :sick:

he wrote it off by driving into a ditch and ending upside down after an office party... yes he was and he got a 12 month ban, served him right too  :grin:

3500S = 3.5 V8

Ours lasted until 1986, when a coach driver smashed into it, shoving it backwards into a hedge very hard.  I was the front seat passenger, it was bloody scary!
