What's white worm?

its a common problem that effects polished face wheels. Appears behind the polished face as a squiggly white line.. thats where the term white worm comes from. If left it will just continue to grow. :nerd:

No idea what you are going on about.


It must be one of those ailments that only affects the larger wheeled amongst us.

Went to VW Cheltenham looks like two new wheels, they will phone me monday to confirm.
Diagonally parked in a parallel universe.
On Order: Mk8 R, Pure White, Reversing Camera, Harmon Kardon, Heated seats all round.
Gone: Mk7.5 R, 5dr, DSG, Deep Pearl Black, 18” Cadiz, Nav, Winter Pack, Keyless, Dynaudio and Reversing camera.
Gone: Mk7 R, 5dr, DSG, Limestone Grey, 19" Pretoria's, Nav Pro, DCC, Winter Pack, Keyless, Mobile Prep and Reversing Camera.
Gone: Mk6 GTD, 5dr, Manual, Tornado Red, 18" Vancouvers, RCD510 + Dynaudio, heated seats.

Wheels being ordered tomorrow morning to be replaced under warrenty.

Glad they have sorted the wheels out for you.
I know what you also meen about the stone chips mine has quite a few now on the front. I even got a large stone chip this morning on the panel above the fuel filler flap in direct eyeline right down to the metal. When an idiot in a fiat came past on the hashed part of the road and kicked a stone up.  :angry:

Dont get me started on bloody stone chips. Picked car up on Wednesday. Newly sprayed bonnet. Drove to Bristol on the Friday for Volksfest and got a nice new stone chip on the bonnet AAARRRGGGHH !!!  :angry: :angry: :angry:

The paint so bloody soft on cars these days. I've got a few on mine now. I'm gonna have a go at just touching the chips in my self.
