Where is the colour code on my mk3

Might seem a silly and very simple question but where can I find the code for the colour of my mk3 gti. It's a red 16v but I know there are a few different reds. Need a few panel so want to get the right colour code.

Sticker under the carpet in the boot, or same sticker on service book.

Had a look no sticker under the boot carpet and havent got service book, any other way of finding out?

might be on your log book or v5, or ring dealers quote your Vin or reg number .

Post a pic of your car dude.People will be able to tell you the code and colour just by looking it.

Its RED! :sick:
There are many different shades and its difficult to tell them apart!
Had 4 of em side by side up at Docs and even supposedly same colour ones looked different!

I will try get a picture posted up tonight so people can see what they think, tried the main dealers in my lunch break but no answer so will have to try them again tomorrow. Need a few panels so need the right colour ref.
