defo too much then if you already have a set of doors that just need prepping/painting, fitting and solenoids fitting

no my current doors have handles. and are standard, the other doors are not my cars colour and will need paint, solenoids and all the glass as they are the doors only, thats the cost.

So you have some donor doors that you want shaved, painted, and kitted out with poppers, built and fitted, leaving the OE doors to live again another day. to do this work to both sides of the car, and getting it right, is an awful lot of work to do, for just £500 with paint and materials... door poppers can be very temperamental things to fit, taking hours sometimes just to set one of them up correctly
As I said before, 500 is a bargain!

thats what i said above, £500 is too much just to paint some donor doors, swap over the glass and everything and fit poppers

top of page he says the other doors are already flushed/smoothed, so they only need painting

What would be your price then?

What would be your price then?

would have to see the condition of the doors that are to be painted and fitted first

because i've been in the trade for close to 10 years and was taught by my grandad who had 50 years experience in the trade and my tutor at college had around that too so i know how much work costs

even for doing some doors from scratch wouldn't break £400 including paint and solenoid fitting
