Do any of you guys run anti virus, security or firewalls on your mac computers? I know apple say you dont need too but you do?

If so what you got and how is it?

Use the Sophos one, I've seen it in action against the recent Mac Malware and it worked a treat

PS: A few years ago Apple did put on their website that users should use AV, the social media networks & fanbois went mental. Apple took down the notice saying it was in error :lipsrsealed:

Cheers. I have downloaded it.

At the end of the day as good as the mac is to use and live with i cant see how you can get away with not using any at all, as there must be threats out there however little in comparison to windows threats. The possibility of 1 is enough.

Just downloading Sophos now. I've been running my Macs for over 3 years with no issues but will be interesting to see if anything pops up. :afro:
