Autoglym bumper care the green gunky stuff is really good but doesn't seem to last too long I've used Autosmart before and that stuff is the shiznit it's what all the trade valeters use and its damn cheap £8.00 for a 5 ltr bottle and spraygun but you have to know someone in the trade :(

i used injention moulding release agent, silicone based i think, i am unfortunalely unable to steal this from work anymore! but it really worked a treat, deepening the black, giving a waterproof barrier and each time it was done it got easier and easier, like it was conditioning the plastic, there is also a spray called 'sprill' made by IWS, this is very similar and works just the same.

Next time you see an autoglym van at a dealership, go say hello. I got 5ltrs of the green bumper care stuff for £20. Usually £5.99 for 500ml. Total saving = £39.99. Bargain!

I get super resin polish (the best stuff available) for £20 too.

It does help that i work at a dealership

Don't know if its generally available but I use stuff called ChemSil.

Its a silcone based lubricant, used in loads of factories and food based applications, spray on wipe off, bumpers are black and shiny and it repels water. lasts for weeks and best of all I get it for for nothing!!!

"Carplan" do some stuff called black trim wax, it's the nuts, it's like turtle wax, you wax it on, and buff it off, keeps em lookin mint for ages, as a quick cheap alternative, baby oil is sound, and takes 2 secs....
