Would i have to take the wheel off to install them also, are the holes already there for installation

It makes it easier, but jacking it up should be sufficient.

They are mostly held on with the archliner screws, but you do need to make some holes in the underside of the bumper for self tappers for the rear ones. However when you have them secured with the arch liner screws, it will be apparent where these screws need to go.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Hi...

I bought and fitted these myself, very easy to do. Jacking up one side at a time, then removing both wheels and then follow the instructions inside the box. All the holes are there apart from the ones used to fix them to the underneath of the rear bumper.
Make sure you get the correct ones as there is a set for the golf basic and another for the GTI/GTD.
IMHO they really suit the car, but others will disagree...

I love those alloys and for some reason the mudflaps seem to suit the overall look of that car.

I wouldn't want to fit those alloys on my car though incase someone thinks I own a GTD
