I'm getting some made in the m/c shop at work to go from 5x100 to 5x110. I'm planning putting 20mm spacing on the front and 25mm on the back just to take up the offset on the new(well new to me) wheels. Anyone know what diameter the spigot is on the wheel hubs?

  I have been having fun & games with the hubs tonight! The bore on the front is 57.1 and at a depth of 10mm whereas the bore on the rear is also 57.1 but has a depth of around 21mm as per this pic (ignore the wooden ruler & the writing!)

Cheers mate, I was looking at your thread earlier. So with the spigot at 57.1mm diameter, if I go for 58mm and put a 5mm radius on the corners I should have a nice enough snug fit.

Right, I've been a bit of a numb nuts on this! I never really checked the offset properly, I had just offered them up to see what like. On further investigation the offset on the new wheels is ET59 and they're 7Js which means I'm gonna need about 38 to 40mm minimum spacers/ adapters which I would say is a no no. These wheels will not be going on the car. Just as well I got them for nothing. As usual a freebie that was too good to be true. Ah well never mind. You live and learn.

Et59 with a 25mm adaptor will be fine, final offset will be 34

Right enough, sheesh! I'm being decidedly thick tonight. 59-25 gives you 34 which would be fine. I just thought that the extra width (i.e 25mm with them being approximately an inch wider) it would foul on the suspension hence I'd need to add 1/2 the extra width onto the 25mm spacer to give me about 38mm of a spacer. Is this right?

Nope a final et34 on a 7j rim will be nowhere near the suspension, so 59 - 25 will be fine
