golf gti vs seat leon

my friend has a seat leon 225 bhp cupra r I'm looking to get a 180 golf gti how comes the golf has less bhp than the seat yet they both have the same engine.

they dont have the same turbo and ecu mapping im afraid but you can get the mk4 remapped not sure on a 180 but its probably 200-210bhp. im sure someone will correct me if im wrong but seat leon has a K04 turbo and 180 has a K03 turbo thats the differnce

yep, the leon cupra r shares the same turbo as the TT 225 and audi S3 (withouth the 4wd) which is the borg warner k04, the 180bhp uses a k03s which is basically a hybrid of k04 and k03 parts.
the cupra also has a 4bar fpr as standard rather than a 3bar on the golf.
if you use the revo software and a 4bar fpr on the golf.. along with an sps3 to up your boost/timing you can get around 225-230bhp without any other mods, a full exhaust with sports cat will get you about 15bhp more so around 245 at a push.

all the cupra needs though is a remap to be pushing 265-270 bhp.. although traction becomes a problem

i have a 2001 turbo and i have some audi tt 225bhp injectors im getting it remapped by jabba sport should i put them injectors in after the remap would this help/do any thing

you wont gain anything from tt injectors, your turbo cant create enough power to warrant anything bigger than standard ones which are good for 250bhp

if you put them on after a remap you'll get bad fuelling.
