Author Topic: Newbie from Devon with a Mk4 Colour Concept Convertible  (Read 3495 times)

Hiya guys.
Newbie here from westward ho! North devon, Just pick up a 1999 'T' VW Golf 2.0 GTi Colour Concept Convertible in yellow (Not sure what the real name is called for the colour though?)

When we picked it the called said it was rare/ish but how rare?(Can anyone help with any info)

Heres a few pics of it anyways

Tidy 3.5 there... very um... yellow  :grin: apparently the one of the safest colours to drive,  :grin:

Loving it with the weather at the min.

Got a few bits to do though>
Wheels (Maybe swap the one on it now for bbs)
Rust on the front wing
And redye the leather as it was stored in a garage with the top down over winter ,But the leather must have got a bit damp and there are black spots of mould here and there
The roof is not working. The pump turns but nothing happens (But in the boot around the pump has leaked oil so maybe a cheap fix)

Yep, perfect car for the weather we've been getting recently... shame about the roof though, seems if you've found a leak you've found your problem.  Need to get that leak fixed and topped back up with more fluid... Hope its that simple for you anyway.
