I'm Awfully sorry to hear about your horrible misfortune of late, what terrible luck you are having.
Please forgive me for not offering my kind words of sympathy a little sooner.     NOT!

I'm not sorry to hear about your horrible misfortune of the past. What terrible luck you are having due to your own stupidity.
Please forgive me for offering my kind words of sympathy.

Very strange what's going on with your car , can you get a garage near you off the council?

There are some garages available near my house but the driveway is too narrow to enter. I've tried.
I think it happened at work with a bit of roof dropping on it. I'll check tomorrow.
Looks like it to me. I just noticed cleaning the windows on mine the drivers side rear has similar marks to your rear window. Im guessing from stone chips and they show up so much due to the dark tint of the windows.

Damn. Sorry to hear about this.
I'll get mine fixed on Tuesday by Glas-Weld.

Hi am1w, did you get the repair sorted, and if so, how were the results?  Any problems?

Thanks
Tony

Hi Tony.
I did today.
He's filled the five gouges with resin. Took him about an hour. However, because the glass is 'black' in that area, it is visible at certain angles. The resin is not as transparent as the glass. Cost £100. At least I did not have the glass replaced with all the hellish problems that would ensue.

Wanted to take a picture but it is raining like mad here. Will do later or tomorrow.

Thanks for the feedback. I have a couple of minor windscreen scratches so was keen to hear your opinion on the repair, albeit that your damage is a bit different to mine. Would be great to see the pics if you get the chance to post them.

Hi Tony.
Here is the picture as promised. The reflection of the brickwork does not help. Unfortunately, he'll have to come back and redo two of the gouges as the resin has not filled them properly. It would happen to me!
Basically, the repair is not invisible and appears like dried raindrops.

I know for sure someone targeted the roof but the rear windscreen was a lump of concrete that fell from the roof of the work car park.
