Mines  DSG , it holds when at the lights without putting breaks on , but then sometimes it just disengages ? That's not the same as hill hold is it ?  :undecided:

It only holds for about two seconds, after you release the foot brake, and then disengages.

Basically you come to a stop using your foot brake steve and the car holds the brakes on the last applied pressure. You can then let go of the pedal and it should stay put and as soon as you dab your accelerator the auto hold releases and you should creep away.

Autohold should come on along as you start the car and have your belt on or in some cases you set it in the mfd for autohold to come on every time. Is the light on?
