need help with the roof lining spray

as above. someone on here got black spray from the net (there was a link to it) basicly he did his roof lining in black and said to get 5 bottles of it. i dont know who it waa and i cant find the post. any help please??? im after plum colour :evil:

p.s its for the mk3 gti

Spraying it makes it a bit hard and crusty. Tbh you can get a decent bit of material from a market stall or similar that will make it look much much better, and will probably cost less than the spray anyway.  :wink:

got some samples (red & purple velvet) just asked wifey she said to get red to go with the anni interior or purple for the mystic blue???. Also got the black pillars and just cleaned them up yesterday so need to pop them in. What am i ment to do with strip that goes around the sunroof? dye it?

Saw this at http://www.fabricspray.co.uk/shop/upholstery-spray-paint/plum but im sure it was cheaper here www.fabricuk.com. btw the material im buying is £8.99 (per meter)
and i need 1mtr x 2mtr http://www.fabricuk.com/fabrics.php?categ=6#dataform (its the red & purple sample ive got) the purple is alot more richer & darker in pic.

i did mine in the front room(was so high off the fumes i swear i saw elvis) :smug:

i used half of a  double duvet cover and 1.5 tins of b AND Q upholstery spray glue :laugh:


I rushed mine,as i had to get it done before the missus caught me in the house  :evil:
