yes thats a turbo, not much dearer but a lot more costly to run and insure, stick with the 1.8.

id personally never buy a vaux again, ive had a few and oddly the most reliable was a mk2 cavalier! but even that had its moments (ignition switch setting on fire and melting shround, and door lock fell into door)

i know people who drive nothing but vauxhalls, but then theyve never owned anything else to compare it to.

I woudnt touch a turbo unless its a vag .. So woudnt recomend it to my mate lol.. He wouldn't be able insure one anwways. iv had pure japs and germans never british or french so neva had chance to see what the downfall them is. But after your guys comments I'm gonna pass em on to him before we go see the coupe.

if a coupes been lowered then check to see the abs has been realigned, i got told this off me mate so not sure how true it is, but it was the car he had at the time.

also make sure the security card is there for the immobilizer code, vauxhall charge a fortune for a new one if its needed, which it may do as the early bosch units sometimes just forget there codes
