Is it worth delocking the drivers side door?

Was going to get this done as per the mk4 but it ocurred to me that in the event of a battery failure i wouldnt be able to get in through the boot as i would have been able to in the mk4 as there is no keyhole.
Any ideas on this or have i missed something obvious?
Regards,
Mat

You would have to have a solenoid hidden somewhere. Pretty pointless de locking it, as one, you barely notice it and two from a security point of view, you can't get in em.
