Geoff really wants BBS wheels for Vicky. Let's have a whip around for our mod and boot his car with some.
He'll pay us back no doubt, but he just needs that initial gentle push over the edge.  :grin:

Slight lack of room now. The double garage at homes full, My ~6 car workshop is full as i want it to ever be without making it unusable.

not as bad as my mate Mike though he had 42 cars, 3 trucks and a full size bus at my last count.  :grin:
I try and keep my place usable and i think if i start filling the drive too i may end up been castrated.

i was talking to an old guy today in the town and he was admiring my car, he had the bonnet up and everything  :smiley:
then he told me he has 25 golfs in his shed (his words) he showed me some pics on his phone and he as got a barn full of mk1s 2s 3s and an original mk1 autinger,
he was chief mechanic at Aston then moved on to Golfs, thats where his heart is he said  :smiley:
a traffic warden moved me on before i could get his no:  :cry:

I often speak to collector people like that. Part of been friends with insane Alfa/fiat/ferarri fanatics they often collect cars on mass too.

Damn. Even I would be interested in a Mk1 or Mk2 GTI. Such nostalgia. I owned these in red in my days of youth and thunder. They were so light and compact when compared to the lards we drive today.


You know what, I am beginning to think Hurdy has got the right idea in getting a Polo GTI and modding it.  :smiley:
